MONTREAL, Dec. 7, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ – Quebec-based Ficodis announces the arrival of a new player to its team with the acquisition of Hydraulique C.L. This Abitibi company with more than 30 years of experience specializes in the sale, design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, optimization, modification and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic products, as well as the manufacture of hoses.
This acquisition allows Ficodis to strengthen its position in the heart of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue mining region, in addition to enhancing its skills in technical services. The acquisition of Hydraulique C.L makes it possible to extend its offer with hydraulic and pneumatic services that have made the reputation of the Abitibi company. The last acquisition in the region was in 2021, when IBS-TUBOQUIP, a company specializing in the distribution of power transmission and fluid supplies, joined Ficodis.

With a team of four employees with more than 25 years of experience in the field of hydraulics, Hydraulique C.L. focused on the development of new markets and innovations in safety, all in collaboration with mining companies. The acquisition by Ficodis will therefore allow the company to meet these same challenges, while offering Ficodis customers a wider range of services.

This acquisition follows the group’s most recent acquisition, JMS INDUSTRIEL, a Thetford Mines company specializing in mechanical services and acquired in July.
